Plum Tree Songs is a music publishing and production company founded by industry veteran Jong Hoon Chae. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Music Business, Jong previously served as a Marketing Manager at Universal Music Korea, overseeing priority labels including Interscope, Capitol, and Disney. After spearheading the Beatles’ debut digital campaign in Korea, Jong pivoted to the K-Pop sector, co-founding Musikade in 2018. During his five-year tenure, Musikade built a powerhouse catalog including 12 singles with over 100 million Spotify streams and four #1 hits, most notably the most streamed song in 2021, “Celebrity” by IU.
